TONY CONIGLIARO- DIRTY DUDE

Word 1. Blood Shot
definition: irritation on the eye. In the book Tony got a blood shot from a fast ball in base ball.

Question 1: How would you feel if you slept through the first day at the big leagues?
I would feel like I was a lazy guy trying to miss it on purpose.

Question 2: How would you feel if you got hit by a fast ball in the eye than got a blood shot and couldn't play for months? I would feel like if I was lonely
